What is Smart Location Scanning?
Smart “Location” Scanning enables you to optimize the experience for your staff at Access Control by determining which event tickets can be scanned and checked in at specific terminals. This is useful if you want to limit the events and tickets that can be checked in at specific entrances or venues.
Configuring Smart Location Settings in BackOffice
1. Click on Settings>Sale Terminals.
2. Click to see the Events this terminal currently has access to.
3. Click the checkbox to select or unselect desired events and click Add Selected when finished.
Tips- You can use the column selector to reveal Event Custom Fields and then search on these in addition to the Event Name. If you'd like to customize the visible columns, after making your changes tap any left-side navigation item (e.g. your user name) and it will save for you next time.
- When you select just one event template, the name will show on the Sale Terminal list. If you select more than one, a count of events will show.
