BOCA Lemur

  1. Ensure that all devices are plugged in and powered on
  2. Power cycle the BOCA Lemur printer.
  3. Check the printer’s status screen.
    • If the status screen says “ BT Connection Good”, the printer is paired with an iPad and ready to print.
    • If the status screen “BT Discover mode”, the printer is not currently paired with an iPad, but is available.
    • If the status screen says “BT error”, the wrong Bluetooth setting has been programed to the printer. Please contact Acme Product Support to resolve this issue.
  4. Go to the iPad’s Settings menu. Click the “Bluetooth” sub-menu. Ensure that the BOCA printer with the correct serial number is connected. If not, tap the printer from the list of available devices.
  5. If the BOCA printer is listed as “not connected”, tap the “i” symbol next to the printer’s name to forget the device and restart the pairing process.
  6. Open the Configuration menu on ACME Sales. Select the “Printer: tickets” sub-menu. Confirm that the correct DPI is selected and that the BOCA with the correct serial number is selected from the list on the right. If the BOCA is not on the list, tap “Re-Scan” to refresh the list. Once you make your selection, the printer’s name should appear on the sub-menu header on the left of the screen.
  7. From the Configuration menu, tap the “Test” button.
  8. If the test ticket fails to print and you see a message saying the “printer cannot be found,” reboot the BOCA printer.
  9. If the printer still does not show up, close and restart the ACME Sales app.
  10. If the problem still persists, contact ACME support.
