Production Release Date: September 29, 2021

Platforms: Backoffice (B2B), eCommerce (B2C), ACME Sales (POS), Access Control (AC)

Release Type: Minor

Downtime: None

Test Environments:  sand10 , POS Sandbox 11.14.0, AC Sandbox 11.14.0

Enhancements

Worldpay Express Payments

We have optimized the API calls to the Express platform in checkout for improved efficiency.

Stripe Payments on ACME Sales (POS)

We have made an update to the POS configuration menu in preparation for upcoming support of additional card readers from Stripe. When connecting to a bluetooth device, the device name will appear as "Stripe Reader".

Scanning externally generated tickets at Access Control

In order to help identify ACME generated barcodes vs. externally generated barcodes for scanning tickets at Access Control, we have added a prefix of "at" to all of the ACME generated barcodes (UUIDs).

  • We have also adjusted the location of the hyphens to make it easier to find the last 8 digits when viewing the full UUID, as ACME Sales (POS) and Access Control (AC) always show the last 8. The last 8 digits of the UUID will continue to display by default for eTickets. If you have any overrides to the default eTicket display, and would like to match our default code for display of the UUID, please see Default eTicket layout.

Import/Export Logging

We have added logging to the Import Export tool to enable additional internal error logging capabilities.

Bug Fixes

Scanning externally generated tickets at Access Control (AC)

We fixed an issue where the scan result would show "processing" even though the ticket was checked in. This occurred when scanning an externally generated barcode with the camera scanner during the valid check in window. Access Control will now show the correct scan result message.

Syncing Salesforce Contacts after Household Change

We fixed an issue where after moving a contact to an existing household, a duplicate household check was preventing contact updates done in Salesforce from syncing back over to ACME.

Dynamic Prompts for Members on eCommerce (B2C)

We fixed an issue where the dynamic prompts for members (released in 11.7.4) would not show if eCommerce was configured to allow membership logins but not sell memberships. Now the dynamic membership prompts will always show if membership login is enabled in Backoffice.

eCommerce (B2C) display of event date and time

We have fixed an issue where the event date/time would appear in an unformatted style at the top of the event details page if the user is in a timezone that is UTC+ (ie Paris, France) after they canceled their order.

Important Reminders

iOS Version Support

With Apple's release of iOS15 on Sept 20, 2021, please do not update your ACME devices yet. We are actively finalizing our testing and will have an update to our ACME Sales and ACME Access Control applications soon.

If you are ever unsure about a system update, you can always refer to our Current System Versions page on our Support portal.
