During card present transactions at the POS, some cardholder data can automatically collected and saved as the order contact. The data that is collected and saved will vary slightly, based on the card type, issuing bank, and method of payment.
Credit Card Swipe or Dip:
- First and Last Name associated to the card account will automatically be collected and saved to the order.
- The last four digits of the card will be displayed.
- After card capture, open the contact info by selecting the person and pen icon, pictured below, to add additional contact information like email address.
Tap to Pay
- An encrypted First and Last Name will automatically be collected and saved to the order, such as Valued Customer.
- The last four digits of the card will be displayed.
- After card capture, open the contact info by selecting the person and pen icon, pictured below, to change the first and last name or to add additional contact information like email address.
Digital Wallet Payments
- First and Last Name may not be automatically collected.
- The encrypted last four digits of the card will be displayed; displayed numbers will not match the card.
- After card capture, open the contact info by selecting the person and pen icon, pictured below, to add the first and last name and any additional contact information like email address.
