Release Type: Minor

Downtime: n/a

Enhancements

Worldpay | New Card Reader - Lane/3000

With the 11.19.0 version of POS, we now support the Ingenico Lane/3000 credit card reader for those using Worldpay as the underlying processor. It connects via ethernet and accepts swipe, insert, and contactless payments.

The Lane/3000 is now offered in place of the Ingenico IPP350. The IPP350 will continue to be supported, but is no longer available for new purchases. If you would like to purchase the Lane/3000, please contact us.

Salesforce | Validation

We have added a new validation to the Import process in Salesforce. If the Salesforce ID on the record being imported, already exists in ACME on a different database ID ("Acme External ID" in the Salesforce UI), the import will be blocked. An error will be displayed in the data logs under the "Membership Import" object.

Optimizations

Foundation | Worldpay's 45 Day Refund Limitation

With this release we are making some non-functional foundational updates to support refunds on Worldpay which are initiated more than 45 days after the sale date. This is laying the ground work for our upcoming release when the functional changes will become available.

API | Organization

In the Organizations API we are now returning a proper error message in the cases when an invalid Organization ID is provided on the 'Get Organization' call.

Apple iOS Certificates

POS & AC | Certificates Updated

We updated the Apple iOS certificates for the ACME Sales POS and Access Control applications to keep them running on iOS devices. We do this to stay in compliance with Apple development requirements.

Bug Fixes

B2C | Multiple Gift Memberships

With this release we have fixed an issue where 2 gift memberships, or a regular base membership + a gift, were not able to be purchased in the same order. Users can now purchase more than one gift membership, or a gift plus a base and/or auxiliary membership in a single order.

B2C | My Membership

It was recently found that members were unable to view their member information on the My Membership page if all lifecycle actions for 'Consumer Web (B2C)' were disabled for their membership level. This has been resolved and members will now always be able to see their current membership details, even when that level is not available for sale online.

B2C | Branded URL

As a follow up to the 11.17.0 release, we have fixed an issue for venues using the Branded URL feature. When clicking on the 'Verify your membership' link on the events list page, it did not show the Branded URL in the email sent to customers who were verifying by email. With this release, the URL will now be branded. If you are interested in activating a branded URL for your ACME online checkout flows, please contact sales@acmeticketing.com for more information.

POS & AC | Auto-Rebook

We have resolved two issues when auto-rebooking tickets during check-in at ACME Sales (POS) or Access Control(AC):

  1. For tickets discounted by a coupon, the coupon code was mistakenly removed from the Order Details and the Transaction Report. The issue has been resolved, and the coupon code will continue to display or each ticket it apples to after an auto-rebook.
  2. For orders with both member discounted and retail priced tickets, for the same ticket type, retail priced tickets were incorrectly assigned a discounted price. This issue has been resolved and the original price points now display correctly on the rebooked tickets.

POS | Checkout Validation

As part of the 11.15.0 release, we adjusted validation calls prior to the user entering the method of payment in order to improve the experience and to support Interac on Stripe. However, any time more than half of the remaining tickets were in the cart, the validation would not take into consideration tickets reserved for the order and display a capacity error. This has been resolved, and reserved tickets are accounted for when verifying available capacity prior to taking payment.

POS | Card Reader Initialization

We have fixed an issue discovered in our POS logs which show that some Ingenico card reader initializations had been failing.

AC | iOS 15

We have fixed a minor display issue introduced with iOS 15: When logging into a sandbox at Access Control you can now clearly see the sandbox numbers when scrolling past 9.
