Fraud Shield

Online Checkout (B2C) | Google reCAPTCHA v2

In order to respond to fraud evolutions and to help block fraud bots at the browser level, we've added the famous "I am not a robot" checkbox to our B2C online checkout. This works in tandem with our existing server-side implementation (reCAPTCHA v3).

As a reminder to those who have implemented consumer-facing API integrations, in order to stay in compliance with our fraud shield, you need to add this same reCAPTCHA V2 Checkbox on the page that calls our checkout endpoint underneath. We have updated our Checkout APIs - Best Practices and Security article with additional details. We now require reCAPTCHA on both the browser and the server for compliance. You should have received emails about this and additional security requirements on Dec 14th and Feb 2nd. If you did not receive these or if you have any questions, contact ACME Support. Please review and implement prior to the February 28, 2023 deadline.

Our compliance changes are defined primarily by Visa rules and regulations to ensure our payment facilitator infrastructure is robust and cost effective for all customers. The trust and safety on our platform is fundamentally derived from collaborating with Visa’s own rules for healthy card processing ecosystems.

Bug Fixes

Backoffice (B2B) | Membership Import

Validation was unexpectedly introduced in the 11.25.0 release that blocked an import when the primary cardholder on a membership was changed to another customer. This validation has been removed, as it will not apply until the release of Auto Renew (and will only apply to memberships where the primary cardholder has opted into Auto Renew).

Note: To ensure Backoffice updates are as seamless as possible, we recommend performing a hard refresh of your internet browser after a release is deployed. In some cases, you may also need to reset your browser's data cache including any saved cookies and related browsing data. Please contact support@acmeticketing.com if you experience any issues after a release.
