The ACME Point of Sale (POS) Terminal is the sales channel for in-person transactions. It is recommended to setup the sales terminal via ethernet connection to ensure reliable and consistent performance.


Prerequisites

  • All ethernet connected devices are on the same subnet, preferably the same switch
  • The subnet being used is configured to allow peer-to-peer connections across the network
  • Apple iPad is running iPadOS 15 or later


To setup this sales terminal, you will need:

  • iPad with ACME Sales application installed
  • Credit Card Reader 
  • Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter*
  • Apple USB Ethernet Adapter*
  • Epson TM-T88 Thermal Printer (if receipt and/or ticket printing is needed)
  • Boca Lemur Thermal Ticket Printer (if tickets are Boca format)
  • APG Vasario Cash Drawer with cable (if cash is accepted)
  • Ethernet switch
  • Ethernet cables

*These peripherals are needed for iPads with Apple Lightning connections. USB-C connected iPads should use an all-in-one ethernet and power USB-C adapter. Minimum wattage requirements should be 60W or higher. 


You may also want:

  • USB Hub with at least 2 ports
  • USB Keyboard (recommended for membership sales)
