Q: Can I update to the latest iOS?
A: If it is a minor update, such as 11.x to 11.y, those are generally fine to take without checking in with us. If there is a big update, such as 10.x to 11.x, we recommend you wait for an all clear from ACME to ensure we have tested the update with our software before you take the update.
If you are getting notifications and want to ensure users don't accidentally update without your approval, let Product Support know, and there is a setting that can be applied to suppress the update notifications sent through Apple. This will not prevent you from updating when you're ready, but it will stop any alerts and notifications asking you to update the device.
