Question: | How can I execute a No Sale in ACME to open my drawer without running a transaction? |
Answer: | Navigate to the ACME Sales side menu. Then select the Open Cash Drawer to kick the drawer open. Note: A compatible Epson receipt printer and connected cash drawer are required for this automation.

Question: | A guest paid with their credit card on the connected card reader. The POS highlighted the amount in red but didn't display an error message. Why? |
Answer: | If the guest used a credit card such as a debit card or VISA gift card that had insufficient funds to cover the full payment due, the payment was only partially approved. Their card would have a temporary authorization for the amount available but ultimately not charged. The partially approved amount will display to the agent so they know to try again with a split payment or ask the guest to pay via another means. |
