200 DPI paper on a 300 DPI printer, it will print really light
300 DPI paper on a 200 DPI printer, it will print really dark

Motherboard power supply light indicators
note: customers won't see this, the printer has to be disassembled to see the power supply lights. This should not be used for over-the-phone troubleshooting as the likelihood of a power supply going bad is low.
Statuses for a red light on the motherboard:
- flashing = good
- solid = bad
- no light = no power
