For cultural attractions seeking dynamic pricing models, ACME has partnered with Digonex to provide an integrated solution for pricing management. Digonex has leveraged ACME's API to retrieve data to inform pricing algorithms to determine optimal pricing for your ticketed events.
What is dynamic pricing?
Dynamic pricing models align pricing with shifts in demand. These shifts can be based on a number of factors, such as trends in tourism, seasonality, weather, and other economic conditions. Digonex can calculate the daily optimal price points for an event with an automated algorithm and send the re-evaluated pricing structure to your ACME database and publish.
How does the integration work?
With an API key to your ACME database, Digonex retrieves event schedules and pricing. As part of your Digonex implementation, an algorithm is applied and suggested pricing revisions are sent to you for approval. Upon approval, Digonex pushes the price change updates into your ACME event and publishes.
Implementation Steps
- Once you have established an agreement with Digonex, create a general user (not an email user) account in ACME Backoffice. We recommend 'api-digonex'.
- Request an API key for the Digonex team to access your ACME environment. See knowledge article Requesting an API Key for detailed instructions.
- Digonex will retrieve (via API) historical data from ACME as defined in your pre-launch discussions.
- On an ongoing basis as defined in your implementation, Digonex will retrieve event instances, sales and scans from your ACME database, and push approved price changes back into ACME and re-publish.
