We recently became aware of an issue where customer address data can be lost upon editing if the record was accessed using advanced search. If a user utilizes advanced search to locate a customer record and edits it, our system is not fetching the address data, leaving those fields blank. If the user continues with editing other fields and does not re-populate the address data before saving their changes, they can mistakenly overwrite the existing address data with blank data. 

Until a fix for this issue is deployed, we recommend advising staff to be aware of overwriting address data when making these changes.
