Product Releases
11.35.0 Release is coming April 16th
We are pleased to bring you the first release of Smart "Location" Scanning, enabling you to optimize the experience for your staff at Access Control. Configure which Event Templates are valid for each Sale Terminal you sign in with at Access Control, so your staff will then see:
  • The events list smartly filtered so check-ins only happen for valid events, whether by scanning or manually checking in tickets.
  • A helpful message if they scan an event not configured for this "location" (aka sale terminal), so they can direct the guest or member to the right location.

Look for release notes in a few weeks for full details on this and additional improvements coming in 11.35.0.

ACME Customers in the Eclipse (April 8th) Track

Announcements Icon
The 2024 Total Solar Eclipse is coming to North America on April 8th! The duration of totality will be up to 4 minutes and 27 seconds! There are a number of ACME customers in or near the path of totality, and some clients have special eclipse programming planned.

Lowell Observatory will get 68% magnitude from Flagstaff, Arizona, and is hosting an eclipse party at the observatory. They have also teamed up with the City of Waco, Baylor University, and Discovery on a public event, Eclipse Over Texas 2024. This will include an onsite celebration at Baylor University's McLane Stadium in Waco, as well as virtual programming that people around the world may view.

Yerkes Observatory will get 91% magnitude from Williams Bay, Wisconsin and is hosting a Solar Eclipse Open House.

The Trustees of Reservations, Naumkaeg property will get 96% magnitude and is having an eclipse viewing event in the gardens.

If you will be watching the eclipse, don't forget to wear solar glasses any time you are looking toward the Sun, even when the Moon is covering the majority of the Sun's surface. Looking directly at the Sun during the eclipse will cause eye damage.
